Our entrance is part of our attempt to elevate everyone’s experience at Buckhead Butcher Shop. The first thing you see when you walk in the door is our amazing Dry Age Cooler Wall. You’ve never seen anything like it and laying your eyes on it is worth the visit alone.
To achieve the best result from any beef, it needs aging. Dry Aging is a traditional way of aging meat to produce an extraordinary bite with intense flavor. Our coolers, that we imported from Germany, are set to specific temperature and humidity levels. These controls, plus the addition of salt blocks, allows the air to pull moisture from the meat over time. The end result is a highly concentrated beef flavor and a bite you’ll talk about for days.
We allow our customers to custom age their beef in our cooler. Here’s how it works: Call us to reserve the spot! Together, we’ll pick out the exact product you want to age. You’ll pay a price to have a tag created and your spot reserved. It’s your spot for the custom duration of the aging process! Once the product is ready we pull it from the cooler, have it custom cut into the steaks of your choice and then you’ll pay for your “one of a kind” custom dry-aged product.
